Garofalo Sebastiano’s journey as a DJ born in ’81 began when he was only 14 years old, with the few means available such as the roland dj 70, Minidisc, Jocks Mag and VHS. Meanwhile, he joins the A.I.D. (Italian Disc Jockey Association) by Renzo Arbore. In 2000 he starts with the noble art of Turntablism (scratching). Dj Seby Turntablist/Producer/DeeJay, lived the experience as a Finalist in the Italian Scratch Championship ITF (International Turntablist Federation) today called IDA, finishing 1st at the Eliminatorie del Sud in Rome and second at the Italian final in Bologna; he is also the winner of the Austrian Bregenz dj contest in 2002. With his Scratch’s and his productions he collaborates with important groups of the Italian scene and beyond. Historical dj, he boasts a long experience in the field of Funk, Soul, R & B, Hip Hop and Reggae music. In recent years, thanks to the positive feedback, he has toured various clubs in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, where he has exhibited his strictly vinyl sets. He has also opened the concerts to leading artists of the scene … citing a few: Dj Gruff, Clementino, Salmo, Kaos, Turi, La Famiglia, Gopher, Lu Marra, Brusco, Colle der Fomento, Lele Prox, Cuba Cabbal, Ensi, Zulu, Mama Marjas, Dj Radar, Dj Woody, Goedi e Medda, Radici nel Cemento, Zion Train, Mastafive, Nitro, Fritz da Cat, Foreign Beggars, Ritchie Ruftone, DJ Jay-K…. He was a member of the Band Anzikitanza, Producer / Dj of Kaotici-Lokus, creator of the project “Selvaggi” and “Remix Selvaggi” (see biography), “Microphone Survivors”, “Love is a Fire”, “Love” and “Positive Vibrations Mixtape”. At the moment he is working on “Blackzone Mixtape” a 360° Blackmusic Library, featuring various MC’s. Deejay / Entertainer, he combines a broad musical knowledge with an advanced technique of scratching, beat jungglin and mixing. All that remains is to enjoy the musical selection live and the right touch of Turntablism!
